| I have visited The Beaufort
Inn over half dozen times during the past eight years, and each
visit seems to have been better than the one before. However, under the
new and capable management of veteran innkeepers Julie and Mitch Myers
(who live on site), this stellar inn has definitely reached a new pinnacle
of excellence.
Magnificent architecture combines with elegant decor and impressive
amenities to provide guests with the ultimate in comfort as well as style.
Guests also have the option of choosing the type of accom-
modations which best suits their personal preference or particular
need--a lavish bed chamber in the main house, loft or carriage house accommodations,
or a charming restored cottage. A wall fountain adds a sense of tranquility
to the inn's lush courtyard garden, and the inn's new Tabby Garden
is an ideal setting for weddings and other special events. Unlike many
inns located in historic areas, The Beaufort Inn provides complimentary
parking spaces for their guests adjacent to the inn.
An amazing breakfast is prepared and served each morning, in a lovely
dining room, by Southern Graces--a high-end catering service which adds
an additional dimension of excellence to The Beaufort Inn. Lunch, also
prepared by Southern Graces, is also served at The Beaufort Inn.
A major expansion of the inn is currently in the planning stage, and
the plans are impressive. I can hardly wait to watch them unfold and then
re-visit this top-notch bed and breakfast once they do.
