Not only are they innovative and multi-talented, but they possess a propensity to intuit and cater to the needs of others. Winky is the master mind and designer of Harmony House, and Cecil brings all of her creative ideas into fruition through his carpentry and other well-honed skills.
Breakfast at the inn promises a new treat each morning. Served under an authentic wagon wheel light, at a handcrafted "Walton Table," a woodsy view may be enjoyed as guests partake of Winky's delicious breakfast fare.
Harmony House is punctuated with antiques and family treasures--along with lots of lace and frills. The Mountain Memories Room, tastefully furnished, offers ideal lodging for individuals preferring less frou frou.

he double galleried mansion, supported by a double row of Ionic columns, was built in 1846 by Adolph Gauche for his Creole mistress—Belle Aubert, a free woman of color who was the first such person to become a home owner in New Orleans. The house remained in Aubert's family for many years following her death.Today the ante-bellum Creole mansion operates as Rathbone II, one of two bed and breakfast inns owned by Tina Ebrahimpour. The two inns are situated on opposite sides of Esplanade Avenue, a street lined with moss-draped live oaks. A native of New Orleans, Tina is a gregarious and thoughtful hostess who is assisted by a courteous, helpful staff.
Breakfast is self-served in the dining room each morning where guests eat at a communal table. When the weather is nice, eating on the front porch provides an enjoyable way to begin a new day. Relaxing in the courtyard pool, hot tub, or poolside cabana enables one to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The courtyard becomes an oasis in The Crescent City's hot and humid weather.

A knowledgeable staff stands ready to book any city, haunted, or plantation tour; river and swamp cruises offer other fun excursions.
