Consisting of over 860 square feet, this capacious area is large enough to make one feel as though he is basking in luxury upon his own private island.
     The common area, exquisitely decorated with vibrant colors and handsome furnishings, also offers spectacular ocean views. The inn is designed to provide a sense of privacy and intimacy for those preferring time alone. Yet, there are areas for meeting and chatting with other guests for ones wishing to socialize.
     A full breakfast is served each morning, at private tables, in the tea parlor or on the front balcony. A day could not begin with a more Edenic setting or soothing atmosphere than this. The vista is ever-changing, and it is always mesmerizing.
 

     Joe McDonough, owner/innkeeper of Beach Bed and Breakfast, is a developer who has been involved in the growth of St. Simons for the past thirty years. St. Simons is just a few miles from Sea Island and conveniently located to Savannah, Georgia. Trained at a "tea school," Anne presents one of the most impressive afternoon teas I have ever experienced in America or Britain. The tea parlor overlooks the ocean, and the food is as delectable as its presentation is elegant.
