After
crossing a couple of time zones and spending the day either plane hopping or
airborne, I hope the B&B destination I am traveling cross-country to
review will not be a disappointment. I know it would not be as soon as I see
the woven moose, aglow with white twinkly lights, standing in the driveway
hailing my arrival. |
This
excellent B&B is a reflection of Nell and Bill Fay, owners and resident
innkeepers of Bentwood Inn. Like their inn, the Fays are warm and welcoming.
Nell’s eye for color and design is evident throughout the inn, where good
taste and a creative Western flavor reign. Strong Points Hospitality plus, location & setting, creative & tasteful décor, attention-to-detail, fine linens, fresh flowers, private decks, jetted tubs available, gas log fireplaces in rooms, terry cloth robes, early coffee, gourmet breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres & wine, in-room telephones & cable TVs/VCRs, Internet access, handicap accessible, special packages.

“Where tranquility resides" E ven before my husband and I are escorted to our luxurious suite, overlooking the Snake River, we are already mesmerized by the sense of serenity experienced the moment we walked through the inn’s handsome entrance. From the sound of trickling water to the feasting of our eyes upon high-style décor, each of our senses is stimulated.Blue Heron Inn was designed as a “has it all” B&B and opened for business in early 2001; it is owned and operated by Claudia and Dave Klinger. Claudia’s good taste and capable versatility are evident throughout the inn. Located within a short driving distance to popular destinations (including Jackson Hole, the Tetons mountain range, and Yellowstone National Park), this expansive inn offers distinctively appointed guest quarters ranging in decor from elegant formality to whimsical Western.

In addition, there are more common
areas than found at the typical B&B—including a billiard room, a library, and
even a small fitness room with a massage table. The great room, featuring a
floor-to-ceiling river rock fireplace, is my favorite area of all. Strong Points Hospitality plus, location & setting, tasteful décor, attention-to-detail, early coffee, gourmet breakfast, other meals available w/prior reservations, homemade cookies and complimentary beverages (soft drinks, wine, beer, hot beverages) available 24/7, guest refrigerator, in-room modems, hot tub, jetted tubs available, fine linens, background music, a video collection (TVs & VCRs in some rooms), library, balconies overlooking river, airport pick-up, creative packages & special events. |
