By the time I enter the inn, home to a Creek Nation allottee in the late 1800s, I am already bemoaning the fact that my stay will not be a longer one. I am mesmerized by my surroundings, and my tour of the premises has just begun. Sandi and Randy Dittmann, the visionary owners of the property, spent over six years creating what is now Cedar Rock Lodge B&B. The attention-to-detail, found throughout this unique inn, is amazing. From the beauty stretching across the 45 acres the lodge sits upon—including a tranquil pond and cascading waterfalls—to the high quality workmanship and decor found inside, this is an inn that surpasses one’s highest expectations. Like everything else at this stellar B&B, breakfast is always superb. |
A yellow brick road led Dorothy to the Wizard of Oz, but a red brick road leads guests to an Oklahoma “inn of ahhhs”—a B&B which provides one delightful surprise after another. I look forward to returning to Cedar Rock Lodge B&B when I can stay longer. “A log B&B with a panoramic view of Table Rock Lake" P erched upon a hill, the sprawling structure is aglow with lights when I arrive. I hear easy listening music playing on the front porch as I climb the stone steps, and I feel myself relaxing and liking this inn before I ever cross the threshold.Bill and Becky Babler, the gregarious owners and resident innkeepers, possess a natural ability to make guests feel welcomed and nurtured from their time of arrival until their time of departure. Bill also serves as a licensed fishing guide. The architectural details at White River Lodge are striking, and the views of Table Rock Lake are ever changing and always spectacular. Expansive vistas of the lake are visible from each room of the lodge, and each guest room features a private deck. In addition, each bedchamber boasts a fireplace, a whirlpool tub, and hand-made furniture by Amish craftsmen.

The unique log beds are as comfortable as they are handsome. The list of extras at this inn goes above and beyond what is found at most B&Bs. White River Lodge offers guests the use of a game room, sauna, spa, cardio fitness center, and a state-of-the-art media center. White River Lodge, both rustic and elegant, is an ideal place to stay when visiting the Branson area or when exploring the Ozarks.
